The software:
Custom tailored application software for livestock order-buyers, livestock dealers and brokers. Efficient input, flexible transaction processing and simple error-checking, all help to stream-line data processing from livestock purchase recording to final invoicing and reporting. Always know how much you have into each animal or group of animals. All transactions in or out of inventory are interfaced to the accounting functions of GL, AR and AP. History is retained in the forms of daily, weekly and monthly sales recaps as well as daily, weekly and monthly purchase recaps.

The hardware:
A state-of-the-art, brand-name, Business System Server with manufacturers on-site warranty hosts the powerful and proven SCO-UNIX operating system. The peripheral equipment, including printers, terminals, modems, power-conditioners and (optional) scoreboards has been selected for price/performance ratio in the typical livestock dealer environment.

We purchased the MarketMaster, DealerMaster, Pre-sort, and Accounting packages from Genesys in May 2001.  We have everything working together, saving us a lot of time.  All the programs are very user friendly, and the staff at Genesys will help you in any way they can to make things work.  During our weekly sales, we enter the consignors in at the loading docks, which saves us time, mistakes, and money.  The DealerMaster package is great from our daily hog market.  It makes our inventory easier to keep track of, and it's easy to invoice out.  It's great to know what your profit is for the day or the month!  We are very pleased with our investment.  Eloise Barnett...
